MENA ROCK FESTIVAL (TUNISIA) POSTPONED TO SEPTEMBER
It is in an official press release on the networks that the festival expressed itself on this subject:
“Following the dramatic events that occurred in Moscow and the Middle East, the festival team wishes above all to send its thoughts to the victims and their loved ones.
At the moment, the climate is far too unstable to take the risk of a last minute cancellation or being subject to a government decree without having time to turn around and face the consequences of a cancellation for case of force majeure.
Although we can only agree with the measures taken to protect citizens and in support of the Palestinian cause, the work of several years which leads to the creation of this festival, the consequent work of our teams to produce a quality event, our moral and professional ethics towards our artists and our festival-goers, do not allow us to take such a risk and see our efforts go up in smoke. After a long reflection, we have chosen to postpone the festival until the end of September.
This is why the ticket office was put offline 48 hours ago.
This is not a structural organizational problem, a disguised cancellation or a problem with the authorities but rather circumstances beyond our control, which, added to the extremely tense context in the Middle East, have created an excessively anxiety-inducing for artists, for the organization and local structures. The decision was particularly painful to make upstream, especially a few weeks before the start of assembly on the site.
TICKET INFORMATION
You can of course keep your tickets if you wish, (no changes in the formula or location) and get a refund immediately or wait for the new dates and possible poster changes before requesting a refund.
A quick email contact@menafestival.com (no DM's please) and we will tell you what to do.
For people who have already purchased their tickets: these are automatically postponed. You therefore have nothing to do, the tickets remain valid on the new dates (postponement to dates
equivalent).
Once the new program is announced, you will also be able to exchange your tickets from one day for the other. For example, if you purchased a ticket for Sunday and ultimately wish to attend the evening on Friday, this will be possible. We will soon inform you of the procedure allowing you to make this exchange request.
For any questions, please send an email to contact@menafestival.com.,All details concerning the ticket exchange system depending on the place of purchase (website, local points of sale, etc.) will be communicated subsequently.
In more exciting news: We are ready and we will only be more ready in a few months! With a few additional little surprises….who knows?
Concerning the line-up, there may be one or two small changes but the artists not available on the date of the postponement are ready to (re)come on the 2025 session. We will keep you informed very quickly and there too there could be a little surprise or two and good ones!
We offer our most sincere apologies to those who have already made their arrangements and from the bottom of our hearts a huge thank you to all those who support us daily live, via social networks, in France, Tunisia, to the groups and their fans for their understanding.
We remain at your disposal to answer your questions.
No, we are not canceling and we are not disappearing, we are holding on!
We might even do a little live one of these evenings and we have quite a few things to offer you just to wait. »
